When I read his letters I could see Vikram smiling in front of me. He used to write when bombs fell in the background. Like he used to sit peacefully in the corner and then he would go back to work and fight for the country. He fought till his last breath. But in Kargil, we have not lost just one Vikram, but we have lost 527 Vikram.
