Amidst rumors of Athiya Shetty’s wedding with cricketer boyfriend KL Rahul, her brother Ahan Shetty has said that there are no such plans. Recent media reports have claimed that Athiya is going to marry KL Rahul in December.
Athiya and KL Rahul were rumored to be in a long-term relationship and they confirmed their relationship last year when they attended the premiere of Ahaan’s film Tadap. The two posed together on the red carpet at the special screening.
Ahan said, “We celebrate Eid every year at our Nanu’s (Grandfather’s) house. We fondly call him Abbu. That’s where we eat food. As far as marriage is concerned, no arrangements are being made. There is no such ritual, these are all rumours. When there is no marriage, how can we give you a date?”
Ahan said that even the engagement has not happened. There are no such plans at the moment. There are no wedding plans in the next few months as well. Earlier this year, Athiya was spotted at the Mumbai airport to receive KL Rahul and they were seen leaving together.
