A biopic on veteran actress and Bengali theater artist Binodini Dasi aka Nati Binodini is all set to be made. According to the information received by the media, actress Kangana Ranaut is going to be seen on the screen as Binodini. Interestingly, not one but two biopics are going to be made on Binodini Dasi. Another biopic of Binodini Dasi was announced last month. Actress Rukmini Maitra is going to be seen as Binodini Dasi in this biopic. The name of the film has also been announced. The name of the biopic starring Rukmini Maitra is Binodini Ekti Naatir Anakyan.

Binodini Dasi is a big name in films as well as in Bengali theatre. He has played many challenging characters. She used to experiment in many ways with her characters. Binodini Dasi became very famous all over the world by playing the character of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu on stage. This role of theater had brought many successes to Binodini Dasi. Binodini Dasi started acting only at the age of 12. He played more than 80 characters including Pramila, Sita, Draupadi, Radha, Ayesha, Kaikeyi, Motibai and Kapalkundala. Kangana Ranaut will play the character of Binodini
Actually this will be Kangana Ranaut’s fourth film in which she is going to play a real life character. Earlier she has played real life character in Manikarnika, Thalaivi.
