She has announced that she will no longer be a part of the show. On October 27, Erica Fernandes wrote a long note on Instagram. He said that he is not happy with the way the story and its character ‘Sonakshi’ are being portrayed. He says that this season Sonakshi has been shown weak and confused.

Erica Fernandes wrote, ‘First of all I would like to thank all those who gave love to ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ from the beginning. The way you guys showered us with love was heartwarming.
Erica says – For some reason when the show had to go off air for the first time, due to the love of you guys, the show made a comeback again. We were thrilled to be back with so much enthusiasm once again after the show went off-air for a month. Sonakshi was a character that you and I loved a lot, a character who was becoming an inspiration to many, a character who was so strong, smart, and balanced. Sonakshi who we saw in seasons one and two, but unfortunately we got to see the exact opposite of her in season one. Sonakshi is weak and confused this season.
Erica further writes, ‘I hope you guys will remember Sonakshi from the previous season. In the earlier season, Sonakshi was not a woman sitting in the house, she had a job and used to go to the office.
